It has been almost 4 months since my lovely daughter Zaina did the mini bypass surgery, She is an Autistic girl and she was about 420 pounds and the massive weight was due to her medication that was affecting her metabolism and makes her eat enormous amounts of food and we tried Ozempic 2 mg weekly for few months but useless and obviously helped to keep her appetite a bit down but things didn’t change a lot. I had a gastric sleeve done in May 2019. I have lost just shy of 5 stone in 1 year. I was very hesitant to do the operation at age 22 but it's the best decision I ever made. Mr. Awad was kind and efficient throughout and the Tonic team have been constantly supporting me. The op went very smoothly and the lift to and from the Derby hospital and London was such a considerate feature. The first 3-4 weeks are tough but completely worth it. I am a male and had an operation when I was a teenager for a condition called gynecomastia on my left breast. The operation left me scarred and disfigured.
