My wife went to the Vita hospital for a full knee replacement. The experience was professional and caring. The surgical skill of Dr Chenkov was second to none. The hospital team worked together well. Our English-speaking liaison Kaloyan was outstanding. Every email and phone call was responded to and acted upon immediately and his checking on my wife was appreciated. I am from Northern Ireland. I had a total knee replacement at the nord orthopaedics clinic in Lithuania 3 weeks ago. I was recommended this clinic by a friend so I got in contact with the clinic and had all my queries answered by Justina. So within about 4 weeks I had all the arrangements made and my surgery was booked for the 11th of January all by the lovely Justina and also Neringa. The clinic was second to none. It was a very modern state of the art clinic better than any hospital at home. It all went well and everyone was great Surgeon, theatre staff, nurses at clinic, reception staff, drivers and also physio’s Laimonas and Justina were brilliant. I can’t thank everyone enough for looking after me in Lithuania. I would have no hesitation in recommending the nord clinic for anyone looking to go abroad for surgery.
I went for my consultation with Dr Panayi and straight away I felt at ease he was very professional and understanding. He sent me for an X-ray the same day and saw me again after my X-ray. I was given excellent information and advised what was best for me in the long term. I am now waiting to go into hospital in one week.
