What I’ve discovered since going to Dr Rakus for the treatment is that its success depends almost entirely on the quality of the machine used. Cheaper clinics use the cheapest machines, and - surprise surprise – deliver the worst (aka non-existent) results.

The staff and doctor were very professional and thorough with my mole and skin check. I had one treatment for sun damage carried out straight away and a follow up appointment booked. I'd recommend this clinic to others and will be going back for an annual mole check. They had a special offer for the summer where my appointment was half price at £80. I also paid £75 for the immediate sun damage treatment and bought some Altruist sunscreen which is very good value at £5 for 200 ml spf30.
