Having experienced 1960s UK dentistry where it was the norm to have a full gas mask stretched across my young cherub like face and much slapping of my head from a very scary dentist to wake me up from such innocuous gas it came as no surprise that I made a career out of avoiding such places once I had become an adult. But having run out of excuses as well as teeth I found myself entering a dentist for the first time in 35 years and I couldn't have found a more perfect place. From the pleasant &pre-covid smiles and reassurances of all the staff, I was made to feel quite welcome and comfortable. In hindsight, perhaps my bravity was probably no more than the courage required from the doctor to take his first look into my mouth and see the wreckage that had taken place over the course of the last 35 years. Now, having completed many dental therapies over the last 2 years involving drilling, grinding, removing and filling, capping and crowning I can honestly say that I am so happy that I found Smile Dentist. It is a joy to smile knowing that those in front of me will no longer faint in horror. I couldn't have wished for a more pleasant dental experience I especially recommend a visit from those of a nervous disposition because you will not regret it. As a child in the, I was traumatised by my experiences at the hands of the school dental service which I carried through into my adult life. After suffering from years of pain through various issues with my teeth, I plucked up courage to contact Ferndale House Dental Practice to make an appointment. My fear was so great that I was actually in tears during the call. I attended my first appointment physically shaking but had no cause to worry. My first steps inside the reception completely changed my opinion. Every member of staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Mr Duran is amazing, he calmed my extensive nerves and during every consultation, he asks if I feel ok with what is being done and stops whenever I need to take a break. I can't recommend them highly enough

I found this clinic during my research. I’d read through some reviews and feedback. I chose them because they’re only half an hour away. They seemed the most promising option for my breast lift. The cost was a bit more than expected but because the reviews were so good, I knew I’d be getting my money’s worth. I’ve only recently completed the procedure, went back on Monday to get the dressings changed and then I’ve scheduled another appointment for next week. There are about four appointments to have everything checked and changed. Everyone was really nice as well as professional. Another plus was that they’re on the same road as another hospital I’m familiar with. It was a great experience. I’ve already recommended them to others.

I attended the clinic in February 2022, firstly the price, my work was two thirds cheaper than the UK, obviously, it will vary depending on the work but even with flights and hotel, it is so much cheaper than the UK. The clinic is very modern and state of art equipment and very clean, the staff were very friendly and professional, they spoke good English and my dentist was excellent, he knows his stuff and did a great job. I am back for the second phase of treatment in August 2022 and have full confidence in getting any treatment in the future, why get ripped off in the UK for better treatment at the fraction of the cost, yes the transfer from Budapest is a bit of a drag, but all sorted via the clinic and a small price to pay for what is a genuinely first-rate service. The dentist changed my plan when he first met me, which saved me over a thousand which showed me he was more concerned about the quality of the outcome over profit, what a shame its not the way in the UK. In short, I can't recommend the service enough, the best choice I have made in terms of treatment.

As a person who has a HUGE fear of the dentist, Friel couldn't have treated me better. I had to have an emergency molar extraction and she was so lovely and understanding of my fear. She talked me through everything. After a few days I had dry socket, and I called the surgery. Friel called me back and prescribed me antibiotics. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Friel as a dentist 100%. It was more of an expensive appointment as it was a bank holiday Monday and an emergency appointment, but worth every cent.

I had a tooth removed and an abscess treated without antibiotics and very little pain. I healed very quickly. Very impressed🙏🥰

I did a free consultation for braces. Dr. Park who studied at NYU is perfectly fluent in English and her staff is amazing. Next, I did an examination with X-rays and photographs to assess my overcrowding. (150,000 won approx. 150 USD). I've decided at 38 years old to get braces and it's mostly due to how comfortable I felt in her state of the art clinic. Everything is spotless and comfortable. Prices were explained to me in great detail, I have embarked on a 2 to 3-year treatment with ceramic and metal braces. Including retainer and 3 screws, that's will be necessary (to slightly widen the jaw), as well as monthly adjustments, the total cost will be USD 5800 paid in instalments of ten months. (Thereafter, whether 2 or 3 years of treatment there will be no other costs). It's just the beginning but my situation is starting to look up already. So far, great.

Dr. Barreto is a treat. Talented dentist, a wonderful communicator (yes, she speaks English), and very professional. Highly recommended.
